We know how important your app's progress is. To keep your work safe, our platform uses a two-part backup system: Manual Backups and Autosaves.
Here is how you can view and restore your previous work if you ever make a mistake or want to undo recent changes.
Understanding Your Backups
When you open the Backup menu, you will see two sections:
- Manual Backup: This is a snapshot of your app created specifically when you choose to manually save your project. Think of it as a hard save.
- Autosave: This is a safety net created automatically by our system in the background while you build. It ensures that even if you forget to manually save, your recent progress isn't lost.
How to Restore Your App
If you need to roll back your app to a previous state, follow these steps:
- Open the Backup Manager: Click the Back up button in your editor to open the backup menu.
- Check the Dates: The menu will display the exact date and time of your last successful Manual Backup and your last Autosave.
- Choose Your Version: Decide which version you want to revert to.
- Click Restore: Click the Restore button next to the version you want to load.
- Confirm: A warning message will pop up asking you to confirm. Click OK to proceed.
Once the restore is complete, your screen will automatically refresh, and your app will be rolled back to that exact moment in time!
⚠️ Important Warning: > Restoring a backup is a permanent action. When you click "Restore," it will completely overwrite your current app with the older version. Any work you have done since that backup was created will be erased.
